A new timber deck wraps around the entire building, creating seamless indoor and outdoor learning spaces that encourage movement, collaboration and connection to the surrounding landscape.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p><p>With constant foot traffic and full exposure to the elements, durability and long-term performance were critical. CUTEK\u00ae Extreme was used to protect the timber decking, penetrating deeply to control moisture and reduce the risk of warping, cupping and splitting over time.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1833\" height=\"1031\" data-id=\"11943\" src=\"https:\/\/cutekwoodsolutions.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/C-Study-Calvary-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11943\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1833\" height=\"1031\" data-id=\"11942\" src=\"https:\/\/cutekwoodsolutions.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/C-Study-Calvary-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11942\"\/><\/figure><\/figure><p>The deck was finished with Colourtone Goldtone, enhancing the natural warmth of the timber while providing added UV protection. This allows the timber to retain its rich, freshly oiled appearance for longer, even in Queensland\u2019s harsh conditions.
